ILOMBA
Ilomba is an exotic timber species found in the tropical regions of Africa. It is a yellow-brown wood, used in particular for interior design for the manufacture of plywood, furniture, and moldings. The wood floats and requires treatment to prevent decay when used as logs. It is used commonly for pencils, boxes, furniture, veneer, panelling and shutters due to its physical properties including density, shrinkage rates, and strength.
